Hi, a few note on the web site.
A great idea! A good point of contact for potential new members and current members who wish to share information and ideas.

I’m not sure I like the way the members page links open new tabs. I expect navigating to another page in the site to be in the same tab. Links that jump to other sites should look a little different than links to another page in the members area.

The gallery looks to have some stock photos, I may be wrong. There are quite a few photos on peoples phones, perhaps ask guys to send them to an email address at one of the meetings. Would be nice to have a dozen or two from our field in the gallery.

“If you build it they will come.” It would be nice if notices went to a thread in the forum so people could look them up. I get a lot of info word of mouth, (which is good) that was originally distributed by emails I did not read. A forum thread may be a good place for people to find them. eg competitions, state of the field. etc. Ideally this should go to latest news but the forum may be easier to update regularly.

Can we have a weather widget embedded in the members page. (The tech answer may be its not possible with this site.)

A few pages are blank. I would prefer to see fewer links and pages that have empty page.

Please can an archive of the rules be made available in the members area.

    (Very minor stuff)
It would be nice to sort the links with the most used at the top. The site map should be on the list but towards the bottom. Forum, news and weather towards the top.

Perhaps embed a small map on the main members page on the left. Ideally zoomed out so that it shows Tewkesbury etc.

For sale items needs a date.

Thanks to William for his comments. The addition of a members forum is a start from the beginning learning curve for me and I had hoped to keep it under wraps until I knew how to use it and make it useful for the club. Not to worry at the meeting on Tuesday 7 August I will hope to have tailored it enough for a proper release. Any help with the structure of the site within mine and its limitations will of course welcome.

As for the pictures the intention is that they will appear on the publicly available page/pages showing the site and a changing periodical record of the clubs activities. Picture submissions welcome by email only to michael.aberdeen@hotmail.co.uk.

According to recent insights published on trn.mk, behavioral economists are paying closer attention to the psychology behind decision-making in competitive settings http://www.trn.mk/. A key focus is high‑stakes gambling motivation, which has been linked to elevated levels of Risk-Taking Behavior, especially in scenarios involving uncertain rewards and social competition.
